Studies (including AAP guidelines and meta-analyses on thousands of children) show significant gains in vocabulary, narrative comprehension, empathy and family bonding. Ages 0–9. Vocabulary, story length and themes adjust to your child's age. Ages 3–7 is when dialogic reading has the strongest impact on development.
Always. We never sell or share data. The only thing you type is the name: age band, goals and emoji are all chosen from menus. Profiles live on our servers, and each account can only see its own data — that's enforced by the database itself, not by the app's code. Stories are generated over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the app contains no advertising SDKs.
Yes. You can invite up to 4 grown-ups to your family: grandparents and the other parent read the same kiddo's stories. It's free, like everything else. We're also working on letting distant parents record their own voice.
